We want you and our staff to be completely comfortable while in our Salon & Spa. If you have a request for a certain staff member, please let us know when you call. Sommer House Salon & Spa was designed as an escape from our stressful life. Any guest under the age of 16 for Spa services will be required to have parental permission. We take great care to ensure a quiet, peaceful atmosphere; therefore, please do not bring children unless scheduled for an appointment. We also ask that out of consideration for other spa guests you keep all cellular phone notification sounds turned off in our Spa area.
A credit card or gift card is required for all appointments being made whether in the salon or the spa. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours’ notice, half of the service total(s) will be charged to the credit card. If a cancellation is made with less than four hours’ notice or there is a no-show for the appointment, the full amount of the service will be charged to the credit card on file. For your convenience, we have an answering system for after-hours calls and cancellations.
An early arrival, at least 15 minutes, is suggested so that you may relax and not feel rushed into your services. Come early to change, relax and enjoy our victorian charm. Due to scheduling, late arrivals will receive the fullest time the schedule will allow; however, the full price of the original service will be charged.
For maximum convenience and flexibility, we highly recommend that you schedule your salon & spa services well in advance. Weekends and weekdays fill up quickly, and appointments should be made four weeks, if not more, ahead of time.
We gladly accept cash, Visa, Master Card, and Discover. Gratuities are not included in the service price. If you would like to leave a gratuity for your service provider, you may do so with guest services. Customary gratuities begin at 18%.
The Sommer House Salon was dreamed up over several years and finally came true in August 2022 with the help of so many amazing people. In 2011 the previous owner completely renovated and brought life back into this beautiful old victorian house formerly known as Parlour of Aurora. She and the staff established not only a stunning salon and spa but a great customer following. We are continuing to grow the legacy with a small but mighty team and look forward to seeing new and old faces each and every day. What a blessing it is to us to serve so many people and their families in this community. The gift of beauty and relaxation is our passion.
